My research explores the cognitive and social dimensions of sustainability in operations and supply chain management, structured around two interconnected streams. The first, Cognitive Drivers of Sustainability, investigates how managerial cognition—such as decision-making frameworks, cognitive biases, and mental models—influences the adoption of sustainable practices. This stream aims to uncover the psychological mechanisms behind sustainability-related decisions and support the development of targeted training programmes and policy interventions. The second stream, Social Dynamics and Sustainable Business Models, focuses on stakeholder engagement, inter-organisational collaboration, and business model innovation. I examine how relationships among managers, suppliers, and customers shape sustainability outcomes, and how alternative business models can promote more socially and environmentally responsible practices.
