My research area is Numerical Analysis, specifically the development, analysis and implementation of efficient and effective methods for the Numerical Solution of Partial Differential Equations.

Methods of interest:

• Boundary integral equation methods
• Finite element methods

Typical applications of interest:

• Scattering problems, arising from, e.g., acoustic or electromagnetic wave propagation (see, e.g., https://doi.org/10.1017/S0962492912000037).
• Wind-generated particle-fluid flow fields, arising from, e.g., modelling helicopter brownout (see, e.g., https://doi.org/10.1017/jfm.2024.740).
• Fluid flow in porous media, arising from, e.g., reservoir simulation (see, e.g., https://doi.org/10.1093/qjmam/hbs022).

• Quadrature methods for oscillatory integration
• Physics informed neural networks
