Summary
I joined Brunel Design School in 2022 after finishing my PhD studies at the University of Cambridge.
I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and teach both UG and PG modules. My research focuses on inclusive design and design cognition, with particular interests in ageing populations, accessible technologies, user experience and AI-supported design. I have led and contributed to funded projects exploring inclusive and sustainable design education, AI-enabled inclusive design, smart home care for older adults, and inclusive mobile financial services. My research has been published in journals including Design Studies, CoDesign, Ageing & Society and Digital Health.
I am the co-convenor of the Design Research Society’s Inclusive Design SIG. I also co-lead the Inclusive Design Research Group at Brunel University of London.
