Summary
Dr Xizhi Sun is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace at Brunel University London. She received her first degree and master degree in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation from Harbin Institute of Technology, China. She then obtained her PhD degree in Advanced Manufacturing from Brunel University in 2009. After that, she has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Brunel University, Coventry University and National Physical Laboratory in the UK. Her current research interests include smart manufacturing, simulation of manufacturing processes, manufacturing metrology, digital twins, 3D printing, AI and robotics.
