Our close links with the policy community, developed in our past careers and direct policy work, and furthered by their attendance at the Brunel Banking Conference, ensure ongoing policy-relevance of our work.
We benefit from close cooperation in research of high academic quality and policy relevance within the research centre together with our current and former PhD students and Emeritus Professor Ray Barrell.
We have done recent grant aided work for the Bank of England and the National Institute for Economic and Social Research (Horizon 2020 and ESRC grants). We have also undertaken work commissioned by the International Monetary Fund.
