In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Brunel University of London is offering three scholarships to students from China, Nigeria and Viet Nam applying for eligible postgraduate courses for the 2026/27 academic year.
The scholarship programme offers financial support to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study at Brunel.
Please note that applicants should be passport holders of China, Nigeria and Viet Nam.

How much is it worth
Each GREAT – Brunel University of London Scholarship - 2026 is worth £12,000 towards tuition fees.

How to apply?
Stage 1: Apply for an eligible one-year full-time Master's course at Brunel University of London
You must apply for an eligible master’s course through the standard application procedure and receive an offer of admission.
Stage 2: Complete and submit the online application no later than 11:59PM on 30 April 2026.
Eligibility
To be considered for a GREAT – Brunel University of London Scholarship you must:
- be a citizen of China, Nigeria or Viet Nam
- have been classified as Overseas for fee status
- apply for an eligible one-year full-time Master's course for the relevant country.
- have received an offer of admission to study for an eligible one-year full-time Master's.
- be available to commence your academic studies in the UK by the start of the UK academic year in September/October 2026
You are not eligible if:
- You hold dual British citizenship
- Your course is an on-line/distance learning course
- The duration of your course is longer than one year
Additional requirements
In addition to the above eligibility, applicants who are awarded this scholarship will be required to:
- have met the English entry requirement for each course (Pre-sessional English courses are not supported by this programme) by 30 May 2026. If you have not met the English entry requirements yet, please make the necessary arrangements as soon as possible to ensure you meet this requirement by the deadline.
- pay the tuition fee deposit by 30 June 2026.
- have successfully met the terms of Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) by 30 August 2026, including all financial requirements.
