Brunel graduate entrepreneur secures £12,000 funding boost for inclusive haircare brand!

Brunel 2020 graduate entrepreneur and founder of That Good Hair, Paris Reveira, has won £12,000 at the Foundervine Immerse Catalyst Showcase, supporting the next phase of growth for the haircare brand.

Founded during her Business and Management (Marketing) studies at Brunel University London, That Good Hair was born from Paris’s personal experience with scalp eczema and fragrance sensitivity. The brand was created to address the lack of suitable products for people with textured hair and sensitive scalps - an area that remains significantly underserved within the beauty industry.

The funding will help the business with progressing towards outsourced manufacturing and scaling operations further.

Speaking about the win, Paris shared the recognition was about more than funding, describing it as “another reminder that this problem is real, this market is underserved, and the work we’re building truly matters.”

Congratulations to Paris on this remarkable achievement. It has been inspiring to witness and support her entrepreneurial journey as That Good Hair continues to grow and make an impact within the beauty industry. This latest milestone reflects both the strength of the brand and Paris’s dedication to addressing an underserved market, with exciting opportunities undoubtedly ahead.
