Tell us about your career journey since you graduated…

I worked for Bristol University as a Research Assistant and worked for KAUST as a Research Fellow before joining Taibah University as an Assistant Professor in Communications.

What does a typical day at work involve for you?

Teaching, research and admin work.

How would you say Brunel helped you to get where you are today?

Everything you need as a student is available inside the university.

Why did you choose to study at Brunel and why would you recommend Brunel to others?

The highly ranked Engineering department with excellent academic staff.

What is your best memory of studying here?

Winning the Vice-Chancellor’s Prize for the Best Doctoral Research for 2011.

If you could give one piece of advice to new students, what would that be?

Don’t worry about joining Brunel too much - make the decision and you will enjoy the journey

What would be your top tip or advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey?

It can be hard to find the job that you want. Try to search and don’t give up. It took me 5 years to find what I wanted to do.
