Teaching

My teaching philosophy centres on transformative learning. In my view, there are two parts to education - learning and assessment. Assessments are short-term albeit important determinants of a student's final grades but learning is for the long term. I also want my students to be ready for the competition they may encounter after University and so my teaching aims to impart not just the theory but also the skills and practice that sustain life beyond University.

At Robert Gordon University from where she joined Brunel Law School, she held the post of Post-graduate Course Leader (International Commercial Law, International Information Technology Law, International Trade); Post-graduate Dissertation Co-ordinator (Online/on-campus, Full time and Part time students)  Module Co-ordinator  -  Company Law(UG), Advanced Business Law (UG),  Public International Law (UG&PG), International Trade(UG), Compliance (PG), and Tutor in International Arbitration (PG) and Corporate Governance (PG). She was also Personal Tutor to UG and PG students, the Law school representative at Academic Council, Member Athena Swan committee and Law School Health & Safety Representative.
