Research area(s)
My key research area is International Business. I try to understand why firms invest abroad and how they develop the capabilities to do so, as well as how they manage key processes such as innovation once they internationalize. For example, some of my current projects include investigating how profit shifting impacts foreign investment, how multinationals develop inequality regimes and how open innovation helps multinationals develop competitive advantage.
Research Interests
Apart from topics in international business, I draw my inspiration, theories and concepts and from a variety of literatures in the management field as well as sociology, political economy, economics and economic geography.
