Research Interests

Using both qualitative and qualitative methods and an interdisciplinary approach, Janja’s research tries to answer the broad research question of how multinational companies (and similar cross-border actors) impact and are impacted by the wider social and political environment they operate in. Her research is rooted in the international business theory and literature but draws from a variety of related literatures in the management field as well as sociology, political economy, economics and economic geography.
