Dr Keith Redpath
Lecturer in Biosciences (Vascular Biology)

Research area(s)

Dr Keith Allen-Redpath’s research focuses on the molecular mechanisms that drive vascular dysfunction in cardiovascular disease. His work examines how extracellular vesicles (EVs) regulate coagulation, inflammation, and vascular ageing. Using proteomics, cell and molecular biology, and in vivo models, he investigates signalling pathways that contribute to atherosclerosis, aneurysm formation, and thrombosis. His translational studies integrate mechanistic insights with clinical collaborations to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets for vascular disease.
