Shirley is open to receiving applications from prospective PhD students. She is interested in public health-related topics that seek to formulate, evaluate, examine, or explore policies and interventions to advance population health outcomes. These topics could be around any of the following areas:

• Infectious diseases.
• Communicable and non-communicable diseases.
• Childhood disabilities.

• The background/rationale of your research idea
• The critical gaps in the literature
• Your methods – including sources of data and analysis plan
• Proposed timeless.
