Research Interests

I am primarily a macroeconomist, specializing in growth theory and empirics, macro theory and policy, and public finance; but over the years I have diversified my research interests considerably to include issues in development economics, political economy, applied microeconomic theory, and environmental economics. Many of the courses I have taught at my previous and current institutions (Cardiff and Brunel University respectively) are directly related to my research interests.
