Summary

Yilin Liu is a Doctorial Researcher in the Electronic and Electrical Engineering Department of CEDPS, Brunel University of London. His research interests lie in the modularity and dynamics of evolutionary computation, specifically Genetic Algorithms, Genetic Programming, and Gene Expression Programming. Currently, his focus is on modularity and dynamics in Genetic Programming. His research aims to apply these theories to enhance the performance of evolutionary algorithms and to leverage modelling techniques in real-world domains, including manufacturing and power system divisions.

He got the BEng(Hons) degree of Electronic and Communications Engineering at Brunel University London in 2023.
