Research Festival Workshops

This interactive session will discuss the mutual long-term benefits of collaborative innovation between industry and Brunel University London. You will hear from the Founder of PolyBook Ltd about the current research project with Brunel's academics and the role this plays in supporting innovation. We are delighted to be joined by Joseph White, CEO PolyBook Ltd, who will discuss their work and benefits from collaborating with BUL's academics and students through Co-Innovate's programme.

The session will last for one hour, including a Q&A session where you can explore how Co-Innovate project can support your business through the unique experience of having a collaboration with academics and students from a leading technology university renowned for its education and research.

We are delighted to be joined by Dr Richard Bonser and current Brunel Design School (#Madeinbrunel) final year students, Yasmine and Louie, who will discuss their work and benefits from collaboration with business.

Join the Co-Innovate team who will be launching an exciting and innovative programme of support for London based SMEs, entrepreneurs and start-ups which is jointly funded by Brunel University London and the European Regional Development Fund.

A 'reproducibility crisis' in psychology has led to a range of Open Research initiatives intended to make research more transparent and replicable. This session will reflect on what these Open Research initiatives have been within psychology and social sciences, and how these may be applicable to other disciplines.

We are delighted to be joined by Daniella Gluck Founder of Black Dress Code and Marta Abello, Founder of Marta Abello, who will discuss their work and benefits from collaborations.

This interactive session will discuss the mutual long-term benefits from collaborative innovation between industry and Brunel University London. You will hear from leading design consultancy Tala about previous and current research with Brunel and the role this plays in supporting innovation.

The session will be led by Prof Robert Holdway, Co-Innovate Innovation Director, who will discuss Tala's work and benefits from collaboration.
