Funded quarantine and testing for international students

We are doing everything we can to limit the impact of Covid-19 on your plans this year and look forward to welcoming you to Brunel soon.

There are a number of steps you need to take before flying to England in relation to Covid-19. Up to date information can be found on the UK Government website.

When you arrive in England

From 4am on Sunday 9 January, those students who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 must:

  • Take a lateral flow test any time before the end of day 2 - this should be booked before travelling

You can check if you qualify as fully vaccinated by visiting the UK Government website.

Currently, those students who are not fully vaccinated against Covid-19 must:

  • Quarantine in the place you are staying for 10 full days (this could be on or off campus)
  • Take your day 2 and day 8 PCR tests – these should be booked before travelling

If you are required to quarantine for 10 days on campus you will need to complete our self-isolation form before you arrive. Further information about self-isolating on campus can be found on our website.

Please note, rules may be different if you have been in a red list country in the 10 days before you arrive in England. Please check the UK Government website for up to date guidance.
