How to apply to postgraduate courses

Find the course you would like to apply for using our Course Finder. On the right-hand side of the page, you’ll find the 'Apply' button if the course is currently open for applications.

You can then complete our application form through our application portal on eVision. If this is the first course you’ve applied to at Brunel, then click the ‘New User’ button at the top of the page to register on our portal. If you have applied before or want to return to an application you have started then simply log in with your username and password.

When to apply

We recommend that you apply as soon as possible for your chosen course, as courses in high demand often reach capacity and may need to close early or stop recruiting. Some courses, including (but not limited to) Occupational Therapy (Pre-Registration) MSc, Physiotherapy MSc, Physician Associate MSc, all Brunel Business School courses, all PG Economics and Finance courses, all Computer Science courses and PGCE teaching courses may have earlier application deadlines, early deposit payment deadlines or may stop recruiting early in the application cycle, due to limited capacity.

  • For courses beginning September 2024, we recommend you apply by 22 July 2024.
  • For courses beginning January 2025, we recommend you apply by 11 November 2024.

After these recommended deadlines, applications will be accepted only if there are spaces on the course and there is sufficient time to progress your application (e.g. interviews, portfolios if required and the visa process for international students).

We will aim to make decisions on applications within 4-8 weeks of the application being submitted. Depending on the time of year you submit your application, it may take longer to process during peak application points in the cycle. Please ensure that your application form is as complete as possible at the time of submission (including scans of your qualifications and any other relevant documents) to avoid unnecessary delays.

Completing the application form

You'll be asked to provide the following information:
