Theatre facilities

At the moment as you may be aware that our primary Theatre space – The Artaud Building is closed because of issues with RAAC.  We wanted to reassure you that the university is committed to providing a great performance space for students with us in 2024 and we are looking at ensuring we provide an excellent home for all of our students.

Whilst we miss the building it’s not the thing that really matters.  Our courses are built on excellent teaching, dynamic lecturers and most importantly you, the students.  In some ways we are excited about the opportunities it offers us, the potential for a dynamic flexible space are immense and we are committed to that.  Both myself and the Head of Department come from a Theatre background and we know the value of what we are looking to provide, we’re determined to find that and provide excellence.
