As a condition of registration Brunel University London submits an access and participation plan to the Office for Students (OfS). Our access and participation plan sets out how the University will improve opportunities for students from underrepresented groups to access, succeed at, and progress from higher education. Our access and participation plan is written in partnership with the Union of Brunel Students and outlines our ambition for change, targets, and our plan and investment strategy for delivering these objectives. In order to assess our progress towards achieving the aims outlined below the 2020/21-2024/25 plan contains nine targets to be met by 2024/25. These are based on comprehensive analysis of current performance. Progress against these targets will be monitored and regulated by the OfS. Our strategy for delivering these targets can be seen in our Access and Participation Strategy 2020/21-2024/25.
Aim: To increase the entry rates of students from underrepresented groups to higher education.
Aim: To improve the rates of progression of students from underrepresented groups into graduate-level employment or further study, and to reduce the gaps between these groups and other students.
