From award-winning poets to internationally-recognised novelists and writers – some have even written the texts you may have covered at GCSE or A-Level! Our academics aren’t just lecturers who will talk at you. Many have their own distinctive and engaging teaching style and in lectures and seminars their passion for writing shines through. Their knowledge and experience feeds directly into your course content, making sure you’re learning is informed by expert teaching and research.

Our academics have published over 100 books between them, won many awards and honours and written for major national newspapers and magazines across the country. Their experience, contacts and knowledge of the creative industries, can go a long way to putting you on the right track to success as a graduate.
