In order to apply for any of the opportunities, you will need to follow the four steps outlined below.

Step 1: Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria

  Erasmus+ Exchange Study Abroad
Meet the English language requirements – IELTS 6.5 minimum. Supporting evidence will need to be submitted with your application. 
Hold a B average, or a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. 
Commit to a full time programme of study during your period abroad.
Attend a university with a valid agreement with Brunel University London.   
Be enrolled in at least the second year of higher education and study full time during your period abroad.    

Step 2: Nomination

For students coming on an exchange or Erasmus+ programme, your home institution must first nominate you. You will need to contact your International or Erasmus+ Office for details on how to do this.

Step 3: Module selection

Please make provisional module choices from the Directory of International Mobility Modules. You will have the opportunity to discuss your choices during the first week of term and can alter the modules you have selected. In order to complete 60 credits per term, you would normally take three modules. As some modules may not be available for you to take, we encourage you to list an additional module for each term.

Step 4: Gather your supporting documentation

In addition to the application form (step 4 below), you will need to provide the following documentation with your application:
    Academic transcriptsEnglish language qualification (if applicable)Recommendation letter ID page of your passport or copy of EU identity cardLearning agreement (Erasmus+ applicants only).

Step 5: Complete the application form

If you have been nominated by your home institution, they will provide you with a link to the application form directly. However, if you are applying via the study abroad programme, you will need to email exchanges@brunel.ac.uk for a link.
