When you study nursing at Brunel, you’ll gain the skills and knowledge required to start a fulfilling career in this field.
On successful completion of your nursing degree, you’ll also be eligible for Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration*, granting you a license to practise.
The NMC makes sure nurses, midwives and nursing associates have the skills they need to care for people safely, with integrity, expertise, respect and compassion, from the moment they step into their first job. To find out more, please visit: www.nmc.org.uk.
*Please note our new undergraduates programmes in adult, mental health and children’s nursing will commence in September 2021, subject to approval by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. These courses will be open to Home and EU applicants only for 2021 entry. As a nursing student on one of our new undergraduate degrees in Adult, Child Health or Mental Health Nursing (subject to NMC approval), you could receive at least £5,000 a year grant funding which you don't need to pay back. See the UK government website for more information.
