Dr Mellissa Prunty is working with Prof Anna Barnett to develop the Handwriting Legibility Scale and examine handwriting versus typing in secondary school children with handwriting difficulties. They also work on research related to cycling skill in children with Developmental Coordination Disorde.

Institute of Education, UCL

Dr Mellissa Prunty is working with Dr Emma Sumner on examining the use of keyboarding as an accommodation for secondary school students with handwriting difficulties.

Treloar School, College and Trust

Dr Carolyn Dunford is working with the Head of Healthcare and Nursing, Sally Nissen, the senior leadership team and nurses, therapists and educators to develop a research strategy for the school and college.

University of Plymouth

Dr Carolyn Dunford is working with Dr Katrina Bannigan at University of Plymouth to develop the Institute of Health and Community Plymouth Case Study Research Project (which is using single case studies to increase research and research capacity in occupational therapy) and apply to children and young people.

Coventry University

Dr Carolyn Dunford is working with Dr Milton at Coventry University to survey the use of home programmes for children with cerebral palsy.

Moor House School & College

Dr Mellissa Prunty is working in collaboration with the Occupational Therapy team at Moorhouse School and College on investigating handwriting performance in children with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).
