Mr Minhajul Hussain
PhD Student
Research area(s)
Minhajul Hussain’s research interests are primarily in artificial intelligence, explainable AI, and retrieval-augmented generation systems. His work focuses on improving the reliability, transparency, and factual consistency of large language model architectures through verification-aware control mechanisms and evidence-grounded reasoning.
His current research areas include retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), explainable and interpretable AI, hallucination detection and mitigation in language models, sentence-level evidence grounding, trustworthy AI systems, lightweight AI verification architectures, conversational AI, semantic retrieval systems, human-AI interaction, and cognitive-inspired AI frameworks. He is also interested in the broader application of AI to education, healthcare, and intelligent decision-support systems.
Research Interests
I am particularly interested in explainable conversational AI, semantic retrieval systems, human-AI interaction, and cognitive-inspired AI frameworks that enhance how AI systems reason, justify, and validate generated responses. My broader interests also include the application of AI to education, healthcare, intelligent decision-support systems, and socially beneficial technologies.
