Dr Zhongping Que
Lecturer in Solidification

Research area(s)

She has more than 20 yrs research experience in alloy design, enhancing the performance (strength of Al-alloys, Mg-alloys, strength and electrical conductivity of Cu-alloys, welding joint,) and development of the sustainable Al-alloys. which involved the heterogeneous nucleation of intermetallic compounds and refinement of compounds in recycled Al-alloys.

Research Interests

development of resilient aluminium alloys with high performance and high impurity tolerance and delivering the pathways to overcome the recycling challenges.
