Brunel Public Health and Health Promotion students and alumni are making a massive difference in our society and the world of education.
Professor Padam Simkhada (Public Health and Health Promotion MSc, 1999) is a Professor of International Public Health at the Public Health Institute and Associate Dean for Global Engagement at Liverpool John Moores University.
He is also a Visiting Professor at Tribhuvun University and Pokhara University in Nepal, an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the School of Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield and a Visiting Professor at Bournemouth University. He is also Adjunct Faculty at Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed University) Nagpur, India.
During my master's education, I was a fan of drop-in sessions, in which we discuss courses and assessments with our lecturers. The opportunity to grab a coffee, and talk one-to-one with my lecturers felt valuable.
I chose to study at Brunel for its flexibility in mode of learning. Brunel offered an online program that allowed me to continue my education.
There was diversity in the course and we all became friends so easily.
