Key dates and deadlines for your diary

UCAS deadlines

16 October 2023: UCAS deadline for Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Sciences applications.

31 January 2024: Initial UCAS deadline for on-time undergraduate applications*.

28 February 2024: UCAS Extra opens.

6 June 2024: Applicant’s Reply Day 1 - if you have received all your decisions from universities by 16 May, then you need to choose your firm and insurance choice by today.

30 June 2024: Closing date for 2024 applications through UCAS main application system (applications received after this date will go through Clearing).

4 July 2024: Closing date for 2024 applications through UCAS Extra.

5 July 2024: UCAS Clearing opens.

24 July 2024: Applicant’s Reply Day 2 - if you have received all your decisions from universities by 17 July, then you need to choose your firm and insurance choice by today.

TBC: SQA results day

TBC: A-level results day

4 September 2024: Advisory deadline to meet offer conditions.

18 September 2024: Final deadline to meet offer conditions

25 September 2024: UCAS Closing Date for 2024 applications.

*Many courses will remain open for late applications after this date.
