Welcome from Professor Lisa Jackson – Dean of Brunel Medical School

Welcome to Brunel Medical School, based within a unique and exciting campus in London. Here you will meet students from around the UK and the world, and experience interactive learning on campus, alongside meeting patients in the local community from the very first year of study.  The curriculum at Brunel introduces you to the essential knowledge based for developing as a person-centered doctor, putting into practice the best evidence, and adaptable to the needs of patients in a wide variety of settings.  With a focus on equality, diversity and inclusion, we welcome everyone, whatever their background.  Our curriculum will help you to find your strengths,  by offering many opportunities: Team Based Learning and early clinical exposure,  practical Anatomy,  carrying out lab based scientific research, quality improvement projects with real world applications in general practice and hospital settings, and even learn how to teach your peers.  We support our students well, and offer assessment practices which promote feedback for learning, and prepare you to be confident, independent and resilient in this changing world.
