3D Printing

3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, is a transformative technology rapidly changing how we design and produce objects. It builds physical objects from a digital model by depositing material layer by layer

At the Brunel University of London's Digital Fabrication Lab, we offer a variety of 3D Printing solutions that range from small desktop units for simple items to large floor standing machines that will generate intricate products ready for industrial use.

To enquire about the Digital Fabrication Lab portofolio and how we could help, please contact Dr Wayne Lam (wayne.lam@brunel.ac.uk).

Our capabilities cover different methods of 3D Printing: Fused Deposition Modelling, Stereolithography and Material Jetting. You can find out more about the 3D Printing Technology in our Introduction page and the sort of materials we use in our Materials page.

Sectors supported by our 3D printers include the Manufacturing, Electronics, Engineering, Product Design Industries.
