Chemistry & Biology Focus Labs

In addition to the centre's core material characterisation portfolio, the university also has both Chemistry and Biology Focus Laboratories.

The Chemistry focus labs comprises preparatory techniques such as microwave digestion and solid phase extraction, as well as a broad range of analytical capabilities that include GC/MS, TOC, ICP-OES and HPLC.

The Biology focus labs has a cell culture suite, a molecular biology lab, facilities for ecology and ecotoxicology as well as an animal unit.
