High resolution analysis by TEM

Perform high resolution and magnification analysis using our state of the art Transmission Electron Microscopes.

All three of the university's TEMs are high end instruments that are equipped with unique detectors that allow for high quality data acquisition to support characterisation, fault finding and publications:

• Jeol 2100F - equipped for EELS and cathodoluminscence. Can also perform mapping, electron diffraction and 3D tomography imaging
• Thermoscientific Talos F200i - 0.12 nm resolution. EDS and STEM-HAADF functions
• Thermoscientific Spectra 300 - 120-300kV HT, probe corrected and monochromated. 4D-STEM and EELS capabilities
