We are delighted that you have chosen to join us as an Associate Student. To ensure you have a smooth start and are well-prepared for your studies, we have put together this essential information and resources available to you.
Enrolling as a student

Accessing Brightspace
Brightspace is our online learning platform where you will find course materials, assignments, and announcements. Once you are enrolled you should be able to access this space and your chosen module. To access Brightspace:

Student Intranet
TheStudent Intranet is your go-to place for important information, updates, and resources. From the intranet, you can access:
- Library services: Search for books, journals, and other materials, and use your student ID to borrow items and access online resources.
- Additional support services: Academic skills workshops, writing support, counselling, mental health services, career advice, and employability resources.
Assessment
As an Associate Student, you will undertake formal assessment to complete and pass the modules you are studying with us. Guidance on your assessment will be provided once you are studying the module. The University's offers support to students who face challenges during the assessment process through its extenuating circumstances procedures - Extenuating circumstances (ECs).
WISEflow - the University's digital assessment platform
WISEflow is the University's online system for students to submit their assessments, and also undertake exams. Most assessments are managed through WISEflow, and students will recieve instructions when it is time to do their assessments.
