Teaching

Dr Swash has taught across undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Brunel since 2013, spanning Levels 4 to 7 across BSc Digital Design, BSc Visual Effects and Motion Graphics, MSc Digital Design and Branding, and the MSc in Advanced Multimedia Design and 3D Technologies. He served as Programme Director for the MSc Digital Design and Branding between 2017 and 2020, leading curriculum design across pathways in Creative AI, Motion Graphics, 3D Animation and Immersive Mixed Reality.

His teaching brings together advanced research in AI, autonomous systems and 3D technologies with practical experience of building and deploying deep tech at industrial scale. He has supervised over two hundred postgraduate major projects to completion across digital design, immersive media and creative technologies.
