Confirmed your place at Brunel? Make sure your student finance is in order
Even if you’ve already applied for student finance, you'll still need to go through the application again to check details. This applies if:
- you got your place through Clearing
- you’re taking up your insurance choice
- we offered you a different course
- you’ve changed your course, such as you've changed from a 3-year course to a 4-year course
- you've changed your mode of attendance
- you’ve moved to a foundation course
The funding you may be eligible for depends on where you live. Before term starts, it's important you update your course / university to match your offer. Once term has started, you won't be able to make these changes yourself. Please contact the Funding Team via our Brunel Help portal who can help with this. Please check the student finance website for your country for further details.
If you have already applied for funding from Student Finance England but have changed your course or your university since completing the form, you need to inform them about your change(s) via your online Student Finance England account. Further details on how to do this can be found on your Student Finance England account.
If you have already applied for funding but need to amend the amount of Tuition Fee Loan because your tuition fees for this year are different to the fees you entered when you applied, you'll need to inform Student Finance England about this via your online student finance account. Further details on how to do this can be found on the Student Finance England website.
It's important you complete this as soon as possible, as any delays may mean that your funding isn't in place in time for the start of your course at Brunel.
For additional support, check out the government's Guidance for students going through Clearing - it's a useful guide that walks you through updating your student finance application or starting a new one.
