Paying for your DBS
The DBS application fee depends on the course that you have applied for, your location and which year you are studying.
You are required to pay for a DBS application unless otherwise stated below, you will be expected to pay for the application. This applies for your first DBS application only. If your DBS is lost, expires or did not reach you and you need to renew your DBS, you are responsible for the cost of any future DBS applications.
Please note that if there is no DBS fee listed for your course, your Department will cover the cost.

The DBS application currently costs £56.73 (if you are in the UK) and £58.67 (if you are applying from outside the UK).
Please be aware the payment is non refundable and must be made before we can initiate your DBS application and send you log in information.
How to make the payment:
Online payment
We recommend you make the payment online.
Applicants should log in the eVision student application portal and click on the 'My application' section, and then select 'DBS check payment'.
Students can make a payment online by clicking this link: Brunel University | Electronic Payments and selecting the option ‘For Student’ and then ‘Misc (ID, CAS, Transcript, DBS)’ from the drop down list.
Payment over the phone
Applicants and students can pay by phone by calling the Income Office on 01895 265264, between the hours of 10am to 1pm Monday-Friday (telephone payments only). You will need to quote your Brunel ID number.
Credit / Debit Card bank transfer
Credit and debit card payments can be accepted via bank transfer. Please contact DBS@brunel.ac.uk for further information. Please do not send any credit or debit card details in the post.
Once payment has been completed you will be sent a receipt by email. Please keep this receipt in a safe place as without confirmation of payment we will not be able to complete your DBS check fully and this may delay your registration.
