Undergraduate courses

Our undergraduate courses combine theory with practice and from the second year onwards, the extent to which you favour one over the other is up to you.

You can choose between our Film Production or Film & TV Studies single honours degree pathway or opt for one of our joint honours degrees in Film Production & Theatre or Film & TV Studies & English.

Film Production BA

Develop your critical, creative and practical skills in the world of filmmaking and prepare to be a part of tomorrow’s films and TV shows.

Film Production and Theatre BA

Do you enjoy bringing stories to life on the stage and on the screen? Combine your passion for both by studying across a wide variety of practical modules such as acting, filmmaking, and playwriting.

Film and Television Studies BA

Interested in how storytelling functions on-screen? Come and explore a wide variety of film and television contexts through the lens of various analytical frameworks. You will also develop your practical and creative skills.

Film and Television Studies and English BA

Develop your critical and theoretical thinking skills alongside technical ones as you enhance your understanding of how meaning is created on the page and on the screen.
