International scholarships

Brunel has a range of scholarship packages and works in partnership with several scholarship organisations and bodies including Chevening, The Commonwealth Scholarships and Santander Mobility Awards. We offer more than 100 scholarships every year to help international students. Some awards are worth up to £6000 a year to help partially fund university fees and living costs.

In 2019 Brunel will be offering over 400 scholarships to Home and International students.

5 in total £3,000 cash award for year 1 only.

MBA Scholarship (full-time) January 2019 entry

The MBA Scholarship is now open for January 2019 entry.

MBA Scholarship (part-time) January 2019 entry

20 in total £9,000 tuition fee waiver for the private sector and £11,000 tuition fee waiver for applicants from the public sector.

waiver plus guaranteed and paid for on campus accommodation per year.

International Excellence Scholarship - 2019 entry  160 £6,000 tuition fee waiver for year 1.

The International Excellence Scholarship for 2019 is not open yet.

Brunel Santander International Scholarship - 2019 entry

5 £3,000 cash award for year 1 only.

Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship Awarded to all those that meet the eligibility criteria 15% tuition fee discount

No application is required Brunel will automatically assess your eligibility in the summer.

MBA Scholarship (full-time) 30 in total £6,500
tuition fee waiver

The MBA Scholarship is now closed for September 2018 entry, but will reopen shortly for the January 2018/9 cycle (course start date January 2019).

 

MBA Scholarship (part-time) 20 in total £9,000 tuition fee waiver for applicants from the Corporate sector and £11,000 tuition fee waiver for applicants from the Public sector.

The MBA Scholarship is now closed for September 2018 entry, but will reopen shortly for the January 2018/9 cycle (course start date January 2019).

NSIRC Scholarship for

- MSc Oil and Gas Engineering 
and 
- MSc Structural Integrity (Asset Reliability Management)

Dependent upon number of eligible applications and scholarship fund available. £12,500 for Overseas applicants and £6,750 for UK/EU applicants.

The NSIRC Scholarship is now closed for September 2018 entry 

 

Brunel- Colciencias research agreement

Awarded to selected scholarship holders from Colombia. 20% discount on the cost of PhD fees.

This scholarship is available to Colombian citizens wishing to study a PhD degree at Brunel University London. Priority areas include: Engineering and Nanotechnology; Humanities and Social Sciences; GIS and Environmental Sciences; Biodiversity; Health Sciences.

 

Commonwealth Scholarships

10 Commonwealth Scholarships are available to enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development.

100% tuition fee, a monthly stipend, return airfares and other allowances as applicable. 

 

Applications are considered according to the following selection criteria:

  • Academic merit of the candidate
  • Quality of the research proposal
  • Potential impact of the work on the development of the candidate’s home country

Rotary Scholarship 

The Rotary Scholarship programme (graduate overseas study) is one of the largest privately funded scholarship programmes in the world.

 

Scholarships are generally for one year of study and around US $30,000.

Students must be studying on a course that fits under one of Rotary’s six Areas of Focus and awarded for study in a different country. To find out more and apply  visit the Rotary Foundation website

Commonwealth PhD Scholarships 

Commonwealth PhD Scholarships are for candidates from high income Commonwealth countries, for full-time doctoral study at a UK university. For more information visit the CSC website

You must make your application directly to the CSC using the CSC’s application system. The CSC will not accept any applications that are not submitted via its application system.

All applications must be submitted by 23:59 (BST) on 22 May 2018 at the latest.

GREAT Scholarship

Students for September 2018 entry will be considered automatically based on their application.

The application for January 2019 starters will open shortly.

Chevening Scholarship

Brunel University London welcomes applications from all Chevening-eligible countries in any subject. This year there are 4 awards available.  For more information visit the Chevening website

Applications for 2019/2020 Chevening Scholarships are open between 12:00 BST on 6 August 2018 and 12:00 GMT on 6 November 2018.

Brunel Graduate Discount

We have always offered a reduction in PG tuition fees for our alumni. Our students who take up postgraduate education could be eligible to receive the '15% graduate discount'.

The Graduate Discount will not apply if you receive the Brunel International scholarship, Brunel Santander International Scholarship or Brunel International Regional Scholarships. Please refer to the individual scholarship terms and conditions for further information.

In addition self-funding students who pay their fees in full by enrolment are also entitled to a prompt payment discount of 2%. Additionally Brunel Alumni are entitled to an Alumni discount of 15%.
