International scholarships

Brunel has a range of scholarship packages and works in partnership with several scholarship organisations and bodies including Chevening, The Commonwealth Scholarships and Santander Mobility Awards. We offer more than 100 scholarships every year to help international students. Some awards are worth up to £6000 a year to help partially fund university fees and living costs.

In 2019 Brunel will be offering over 400 scholarships to Home and International students.

 

January 2019 scholarships  

International Excellence Scholarship

There are 14 awards available worth up to £6,000 as part of the International Excellence Scholarship for January 2019 entry. The scholarship contributes to the tuition fee payment for the first year of studies.


The deadline for applications is midnight on 7 December 2018. Register your interest to be considered.

Brunel Santander International Scholarship

There is one £3,000 cash award available as part of the Santander Scholarship for January 2019 entry.
The deadline for applications is midnight on 7 December 2018. Apply to be considered.

GREAT Scholarship

One fee waiver is available as part of the GREAT Scholarship for January 2019 entry.
The deadline for applications is midnight on 7 December 2018. Register your interest to be considered.

MBA Scholarship - Full-time

There are 30 awards of £6,500 available for January and  September 2019 entry.

 

The MBA Scholarship is now open for January 2019 entry.The deadline for applications is midnight on 5 December 2018. Apply to be considered.

MBA Scholarship - Part-time

There are 20 awards available for January and September 2019 entry. Successful applicants from the private sector will receive a £9,000 tuition fee waiver, and successful applicants from the public sector will receive for the private sector and £11,000 tuition fee waiver.

September 2019 scholarships 

International Excellence Scholarship

There are 160 awards available of up to £6,000 tuition fee waiver as part of the International Excellence Scholarship for September 2019 entry. The scholarship contributes to the tuition fee payment for the first year of studies.

The International Excellence Scholarship for 2019 is not open yet. Further details and full terms and conditions will follow soon.

Brunel Santander International Scholarship

There are five awards available as part of the Santander Scholarship for September 2019 entry. Successful applicants will receive a £3,000 cash award towards their first year of study.

Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship

As part of the Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship, 15% tuition fee discount is awarded to all those who meet the eligibility criteria.

 

No application is required as Brunel will automatically assess your eligibility in the summer.

Brunel Colciencias

The Brunel Colciencias is awarded to selected scholarship holders from Colombia. Successful students will recieve 20% discount towards the cost of PhD fees. 

This scholarship is available to Colombian citizens wishing to study a PhD degree at Brunel University London. Priority areas include: Engineering and Nanotechnology; Humanities and Social Sciences; GIS and Environmental Sciences; Biodiversity; Health Sciences.

Commonwealth Scholarship

100% tuition fee, a monthly stipend, return airfares and other allowances as applicable is available.

Applications are considered according to the following selection criteria:

Academic merit of the candidate
Quality of the research proposal
Potential impact of the work on the development of the candidate’s home country

Rotary Scholarship

The Rotary Scholarship programme (graduate overseas study) is one of the largest privately funded scholarship programmes in the world.

Scholarships are generally for one year of study and around US $30,000.

Students must be studying on a course that fits under one of Rotary’s six Areas of Focus and awarded for study in a different country. To find out more and apply visit the Rotary Foundation website.

 

Brunel Graduate Discount

We have always offered a reduction in PG tuition fees for our alumni. Our students who take up postgraduate education could be eligible to receive the '15% graduate discount'.

The Graduate Discount will not apply if you receive the Brunel International scholarship, Brunel Santander International Scholarship or Brunel International Regional Scholarships. Please refer to the individual scholarship terms and conditions for further information.

In addition self-funding students who pay their fees in full by enrolment are also entitled to a prompt payment discount of 2%. Additionally Brunel Alumni are entitled to an Alumni discount of 15%.
