Mr Istvan Szabo
Qualifications: B.Ed, BEng, MSc
Mr Istvan Szabo has 10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering from the military environment in the fields vary from fault finding, reparation and testing of armoured-, weapon carrier vehicles, heavy guns and specific infantry weapons both in the workshop and field environment.
Istvan Szabo has great experience in pipe and duct system layout design for HVAC applications. As a Design Engineer he led and been involved in various thermal energy recovery and energy storage as well as passive ventilation and energy efficient heating system design projects. His experience includes writing TSB grant applications.
He is an expert user of multiple CAD packages including SolidWorks, Catia V5, Autodesk Inventor and Revit, Pro E. He is Research Assistant at BIC, leader of two X-ray image processing device enclosure design projects, actively involved in activities varying from research and development in the areas of novel technique development, sensor applications
