Assessment and feedback

Rather than relying on traditional closed-book exams, the course prioritises applied and coursework-based assessments. This approach ensures you're evaluated through authentic, work-relevant tasks that reflect the demands of modern project management roles and prepare you for success beyond the classroom.

You'll be assessed through a mix of methods, including individual coursework such as essays, research reports, and technical assignments that test your understanding of project tools, methodologies, and strategic frameworks. Group projects and presentations simulate the dynamics of real project teams, encouraging collaboration, leadership, and solution-focused thinking. You’ll also engage in live consultancy projects and case study analyses, applying your knowledge to real organisational challenges and sharpening your decision-making and analytical skills.

A key part of the programme is your final dissertation - an independent research project where you'll investigate a complex issue relating to your field of study, apply appropriate research methods, and present your findings in a structured academic format.
