The ICE, IMechE and IET are professional institutions that develop and promote a career in engineering and the people who practice in it. There are many chartered professional institutes in the UK, over 80, that cover many different areas of work. The IMechE, ICE and IET cover the major engineering disciplines. These professional institutions can help you with your professional development, both before and after you graduate.
