Social Kitchen

The destination for a variety of foods to enjoy with friends.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick breakfast or taking your time over lunch with friends, Social Kitchen provides a wide selection of food influenced by different cuisine from across the world.

One of the best places to enjoy a meal or drink in the summer.

Yardbird boasts a balcony overlooking to campus concourse, but if it’s not warm enough for you then you can take a seat inside.

Yardbird specialises in chicken, grilled or fried and in a range of tasty combinations. All chicken is certified halal, and there’s vegetarian options too!

Costa at Brunel

COSTA coffee shop is another source of caffeine on campus, as well as selling delicious sandwiches, hot paninis, cakes and bakes.

Open 24h from Monday 7am until Friday 8pm
Saturday: 9:30am-5pm
Sunday: 10:30am - 6:30pm

Hungry after a workout?

Serving food as well as having a well-stocked bar, BeActive in the sports centre is the place to relax and socialise after a workout or a game. Take advantage of the outside terrace during the summer or watch the sports taking place in the sports hall below.

The Beldam Restaurant

The Beldam restaurant is Brunel's own fine dining restaurant. 

Our executive chef has created a menu of seasonal produce and the freshest ingredients.  Located in the Beldam art gallery in the Eastern Gateway building the restaurant offers customers the chance to enjoy fine food in a unique setting, surrounded by contemporary art.  The restaurant is the perfect place to entertain visitors, enjoy food with friends or colleagues or host a special celebration.

Find out more about your nightclub, Academy. There's something for every night of the week, from salsa dance classes and club nights, to open mic nights and cocktails.


There's also a pharmacy on campus, plus two food shops. You're also a short walk or bus ride away from large supermarkets and Uxbridge town centre. The town centre has a wide selection of different restaurants and bars, as well as a large shopping mall and multi-screen cinema.
