Tutor the Nation is a charity empowering young people in the United Kingdom by providing them with free online tutoring. The organisation helps students gain confidence and curiosity for learning through personalised educational support focusing on building both subject-specific knowledge and broader cognitive skills to empower the youth with the tools they need to succeed academically and beyond.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you spread the word about Tutor The Nation on university campuses across the UK through social media channels and by representing the charity at in-person events. As a Volunteer Ambassador, you will sharpen your communication and leadership abilities, while establishing connections and building relationships with university students, staff, and fellow volunteers. 

Typical duties include:

  • Using various social media platforms to share information about Tutor The Nation's mission, activities, and impact on university students
  • Developing engaging content, including posts, images, and videos, that communicates the charity's message
  • Representing Tutor The Nation at in-person events on university campuses
  • Distributing promotional materials, such as flyers, brochures, and information packets, to raise awareness about Tutor The Nation

Please note, the Brunel Volunteers team would like you to commit to a minimum of 2-3 months.
