Pilot study to develop new machine learning models

BPACHS are funding a pilot study, led by @Federico Colecchia, to develop new machine learning models of sleep using patient data from specialist sleep clinics. Sleep disturbance monitoring holds potential for predicting onset and development of a range of health conditions. However, machine learning models capable of fully analysing the complexity of sleep data towards personalised sleep health are yet to be developed. With this research, the team will fill this gap by capitalising on the convergence of a multidisciplinary team of academics with clinical and industry partners, to address sleep health inequities and enable ‘sleep justice’.
