The Brunel MBA has successfully organised the Brunel MBA Milan Tour in partnership with University of Milan, Bicocca. This is the first time such a big contingent of MBA students (40 in total) took part in an overseas study tour. The MBA group visited a number of organisations (including SMEs, large manufacturing concerns such as Mapei, co-working space and start up incubator Talent Garden, a big hospital Humanitas and Milan Linate Airport) and attended academic sessions on a range of topics including big data analytics, technology and innovation and cultural and economic environments of Italy delivered by leading academics. A trip to the centre of Milan and visit inside Milan’s iconic Cathedral Doumo was a also a major highlight of the tour. Students thoroughly enjoyed the trip and were highly satisfied with the academic and business presentations and the social events. As one of the students stated in their e-mail this morning:

“I would like to thank the School and the MBA programme for planning and organising an excellent study trip . The trip successfully facilitated the ability to view business theories and strategies in practice within a European context.”

Brunel Business School and the Brunel MBA aim to make this a regular annual event for all interested MBA students.
