On 14 July 2015, Dr Dimitrios Giannoulopoulos was interviewed by satellite news channel TRT on the political ramifications of the Greek bailout plan that was going to a vote in Parliament the following day. Dr Giannoulopoulos commented that there was no doubt that the plan would be approved, and that it would probably be followed by a reshuffle of the Government (which indeed happened on 17 July). He explained that there were deep divisions within the governing SYRIZA party and pointed out the risk of new elections.
