Sport Sciences MSc student and Paralympic Champion Tom Aggar has been named 2010 World Rowing Adaptive Crew of the Year – for the second year in a row.

Tom has been totally dominant in the adaptive men's single scull, remaining unbeaten throughout the season and improving his own World Best time. In November, he won gold by a 13 second margin at the World Rowing Championships in New Zealand, securing his fourth international title in a row.

World Rowing is the sport's official governing body, and the award winners were announced at its annual gala dinner, held this year at the River and Rowing Museum in Henley on 22 January.
