The pitches provide a high-quality training environment for students and local clubs, which is unrivalled in the area.

Tony Adams is the only English footballer ever to captain his club to the league Championship in three different decades.  In a career spanning nearly 20 years, Tony won four league championships and three FA cups with Arsenal, as well as captaining his country on 15 occasions.

When Tony retired from professional football in 2002, he enrolled on a Sport Sciences degree at Brunel University before taking his first managerial position at Wycombe Wanderers FC.

Brunel University is named after Isambard Kingdom Brunel, one of the most famous Victorian engineers. There are around 12,000 students, of whom nearly 2,000 are postgraduates. Its campus in Uxbridge is undergoing a £100 million redevelopment programme and its indoor and outdoor sports facilities are being redeveloped at a cost of more than £13 million. Brunel is the top sporting university in London.

The Football Foundation is dedicated to revitalising the grass roots of the game, constructing modern football facilities, developing football as a force for social cohesion and as a vehicle for education in communities throughout the country.  Funded by the Premier League, the Football Association and the Government, the Football Foundation is the nation’s largest sports charity with £93 million already invested into the heart of football.

Schools and clubs in the region who wish to use the new sports complex, should contact Brunel University Sports Centre on 01895 203305
