The organisation delivers high-quality healthcare and ensures support for patients at every stage of life, including health visits for new-borns, community nursing, stroke rehabilitation, and palliative care for individuals nearing the end of their lives.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will participate in activities aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and conservation like reducing emissions, improving habitats, and becoming net zero. As a Green Project Volunteer, you will acquire skills such as becoming more environmentally conscious and increasing your communication, research, and data analytic skills.
Typical duties include:
- Participating in environmental clean-up activities
- Working on green infrastructure projects
- Advocating and outreaching for better approaches toward the environment
- Promoting sustainability education
Please note, this organisation requires a minimum 6 months commitment for 4 hours per week in addition to two references and a DBS check (fully funded).
