Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) provides community health services to an exceeding population across eleven London Boroughs and Hertfordshire. The organisation delivers high-quality healthcare and ensures support for patients at every stage of life, including health visits for new-borns, community nursing, stroke rehabilitation, and palliative care for individuals nearing the end of their lives.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role, you will work closely with patients to collect and share their perspectives and experiences. As a Patient Stories Volunteer, you will acquire skills such as being empathetic, and understanding, also increasing your active listening and interpersonal skills.

Typical duties include:

  • Working in conjunction with a Patient Experience Facilitator
  • Collecting feedback from patients
  • Recording and documenting the patient discussions
  • Writing and editing patient transcripts

Please note, this organisation requires a minimum 6 months commitment for 4 hours per week in addition to two references and a DBS check (fully funded).
